On the fourth day after visiting Gulmarg, you will be transferred to Srinagar for an overnight stay on a houseboat. Next in the plan is to reach Katra from Srinagar, which is a 9-hour journey. After resting at the hotel for the night, the next morning marked the beginning of the journey to Mata Vaishno Devi the following morning for the darshan. Vaishno Devi is a manifestation of the goddess Mata Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity. Consequently, it is a must-visit pilgrimage site for all Hindus.

The very next morning, you will be transferred to Amritsar, in the state of Punjab. The legendary retreat ceremony is held at the Wagah Border checkpoint between India and Pakistan every evening. The Harmadir Sahib (Golden Temple), a major pilgrimage site for Sikhs, will be your destination the next morning. Once done with local sightseeing you’ll be brought to the airport or train station as per your timing to abide you goodbye.

Day 1ARRIVE SRINAGAR

Arrival Srinagar Airport. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1585 m (5200 feet) above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year. Later visit Asia’s Largest Tulip Garden, Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat, ChashmeShahi & PariMahal. Evening you can go for Shikara Ride. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

Day 2SRINAGAR TO SONAMARG (84 KMS / 02 & 1/2 HRS ONE WAY)

After an early breakfast you will be driven to Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of Gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and Mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

Day 3SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM (95 KMS / 03 HRS – ONE WAY)

Post Breakfast we proceed to Pahalgam, also called as “Valley of Shepherds” situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s Village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25C. Hire a pony rides across these beautiful pinewoods to a place known here among tourists as Mini- Switzerland(Baisaran) or you can proceed for sightseeing of Pahalgam visiting Betaab valley and Aru valley by local taxi. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

Day 4SRINAGAR TO GULMARG (55 KMS / 01 & 1/2 HRS ONE WAY)

After breakfast you will be driven to Gulmarg. With the setting up of the Gondola Cable Car, Gulmarg has become the highest lift-served ski resort in the world providing a downhill ski run of 5.2 km from a height of 14,000 ft in the Apharwat range. It is also the longest gondola served ski-lift in Asia. Take a fun-filled Gondola Ride. Later you will be driven back to Srinagar. Rest of the day at leisure or go for shopping. Overnight at houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 5SRINAGAR TO KATRA (250 KMS / 8 & 1/2 HRS – ONE WAY)

After breakfast you will be driven to Katra. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Katra.

Day 6KATRA

After breakfast leave for holy darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. Overnight at hotel in Katra.

Day 7JAMMU TO AMRITSAR (220 KMS / 05 HRS – ONE WAY)

After breakfast you will be driven to Amritsar. On arrival check in hotel. Later visit to the Wagah Border for the Indo-Pak evening Parade ceremony. Overnight at hotel in Amritsar.

Day 8AMRITSAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING – AMRITSAR (FLY OUT)
