Day 1Arrival in Leh

On Arrival, you will be received by our representative at the Leh Airport and transferred to the Hotel. You need to take complete rest for the first 24 hours to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2Leh (Acclimatisation/Local Sight-seeing)

After Breakfast you will visit some of the monasteries in the indus Valley along Indus river. Shey palace and Thiksay monastery are the two most popular monasteries of Ladakh. Leh palace and Shanti Stupa. You spend the evening exploring the leh market, as there are couple of good adventure shops as well. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3Leh -Likir -Yangthang : 4 -5 hours

Morning after breakfast drive to Likir village (58 kms. ) visit the 15th century Likir monastery
founded by Lama LACHEN GYALPO. Monastery is located on the top of a hill facing the valley
has agricultural fields it has distinction of being the wealthiest monastery too. Precious statues
made in gold, silver and copper, besides numerous rare thangkas, murals and art works form the
wealth of the monastery. Later you will drive to the starting point of trekking where you will meet
your trekking team. Trek crossing the Phobe La (3500m) Sumdo village . From here walk steadily
upwards to cross the Chagatse La pass (3620 m), descend to village Yangthang (3625m).. Overnight Camp

Day 4Yangthang -Rizong- Yangthang

After breakfast day trip to visit Ridzong monastery . This monastery was founded by Lama
Tsultim Nima. This hermitage is one of the most special monastery which has cover by mountain.
This is the monastery which is maintain the culture of common kitchen of the monastery.. Lama
Tsultim Nima also codified rules for adherence by monks called Vinaya Rules. Under the rules,
monks cant leave till completion of education, have to shun all material comforts and forsake all
material possessions. There are paintings block about the founder of the monastery which tells
his whole biography. The monastery is also distinct from other due to two incarnate Lamas also
has some books and scriptures written by such incarnates.The monastery also oversees the
functioning of a nunnery located about two km away. The Julichen nunnery houses 26 nuns who
take full participation in the economic activity of the monastery. After visit the monastery back to
Yangthang. Overnight Camp

Day 5Yangthang - Shukpachen 3660-3hrs

This is an easy trail leads northwards, enroute crossing a stream and pass to cross for
Tsermangchen la pass . then Walk down from the pass to Hemis Shukpachan, The named after
the grove of cedars found here (rather unusual for Ladakh). Overnight Camp.

Day 6Hemis Shukpachen - Mebtak La (3750m) -Ang : 3 hours

Today’s trek is fairly easy to begin with, leading upwards between two hillocks but climbs steeply
to the Mebtak La pass which is marked by prayer flags. From the pass walk down a gorge to
approach the charming village of Ang. Camp here for the night.

Day 7Himisshukpa chan to Temisgam and Nurla: 3 - Leh

After breakfast and easy trek all the way to the main road to Temisgam. One of the
historical villag. From here you will drive to Leh to take a detour across the Indus to visit
the 11th. Century Alchi monastery, the oldest surviving monastic complex of Ladakh and
famous for its ancient frescoes and architecture – a UNESCO listed. Heritage site.
Overnight Hotel

Day 8Local tour around Leh

After breakfast day for Leisurely to explore the Leh Palace, Sankar Gompa & Shanti Stupa .Later Leh market . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9Flight

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
